Alpine, Utah. April 6, 2005. Clifton Mining Company (Clifton)(OTC:CFTN) announces that Clifton filed an amended form 10-SB with the SEC on March 28, 2005.  The form has been posted in the EDGAR system and is available for perusal.

Clifton will hold its annual shareholder meeting at noon on May 13, 2005, at the Alpine Arts Center in Alpine, Utah.  The proxy statement and proxy information will be mailed this week to shareholders of record as of March 29, 2005.
