CLIFTON ANNOUNCES - ABL RECEIVES 4TH MALARIA STUDY

May 10th 2005.  American Biotech Labs (ABL) a private company in which Clifton is the largest individual shareholder, has just received the results form its fourth completed human study using the ASAP Solution® against Malaria.  There were 13 patients in the study ranging from 15-60 years.  All patients achieved full recovery in seven days or less.  On average the malaria parasite was eliminated from their blood stream in 4 days.

Summary Data

To date, 54 patients have been treated for malaria with the ASAP Solution® at five different medical facilities in West Africa.  There have been no treatment failures.  All 54 patients have been reported as fully recovered in an average of 5 days.

Shortage of Necessary Drugs

There is a severe shortage of malaria drugs, exposing millions of people, mostly pregnant women and children, to risk of serious disease and death.  ABL and its government team have been diligently pursuing this application.  For more information on the malaria studies please see William D. Moeller’s full congressional testimony on http://wwwc.house.gov/international_relations/afhear.htm  website.
