PRESS RELEASE

Clifton Mining Company Inc. (OTC : CFTN)

FOR RELEASE – September 6, 2005

NEW TESTS RESULTS SHOW ASAP EFFECTIVE
AGAINST BLACK MOLD

NEW TEST RESULTS RELEASED

American Biotech Labs, a private company of which Clifton Mining Company is the largest shareholder, owning 24%, has just completed testing of its ASAP-AGX-32 disinfectant product against a potentially deadly black mold, Stachybotrys charatum. The ASAP-AGX-32 achieved a kill rate greater than 99.9 % in just 10 minutes of contact time.

Black mold can be a serious problem in dry, as well as damp, locations. The presence of Stachybotrys charatum, because of its extreme toxicity, can make any building uninhabitable.  It is particularly dangerous in flood-damaged buildings.

Said Keith Moeller, V.P., “These new test results can extend the proven uses of the ASAP product to black mold, which is a problem throughout the world because of the dangerous mycotoxins it produces.  We will be filing these results with the appropriate government agencies with the intent of adding black mold to the ASAP-AGX-32 label.   Because the ASAP product has no color and no smell and is completely safe to use around people, we believe it can become the preferred treatment for black mold.”

Clifton trades on the U.S. OTC: (CFTN).  For additional information, contact Dr. Ken Friedman, President at 303-642-0659, Keith Moeller Vice President at 801-756-1414 or visit our website at www.cliftonmining.com
